The end of our school year is coming up fast. We are practising for our Prize Giving show December 18th at 6 pm.We have a school water fight looming, lots of books to publish, our school athletic sports and farewells to prepare as well as packing up our class room as there will be a new teacher in Room 2.
We have many photos to load on this blog as well as movies but we have used up our allocation on Blogger so that will be fixed during the holidays. There will be new links down the right hand side of this blog site to stretch your brain and the latest one is Let's Tessellate...so have a go.
Our school is having a few changes next year as we will have our new principal here so wait to see the photo and the big reveal.
Bye to our followers for 2012 and all the best for another great year in 2013.

Pet Day
The lambs and calves have been reared. The horses groomed, the rabbits and goldfish displayed.
We competed in the Young Farmer competition. We hammered in nails, carried eggs, transferred pine cones, docked a rope, put up an electric fence, peeled a potato and did our absolute best.
We also iced cup cakes, made posters of our pets, did our best handwriting and an observational drawing of an animal. It was a long, hot, successful day.

We have been to Camp !!!!!
On 17. 10. 2012 30 of us left for camp. We got back to school 3 days later. We went to the tannery, the Levin playground, the Nga Manu Reserve (where we fed eels) , the Raumati pools, Te Papa, the Wellington water front, the Cable car, the Zoo, Ten Pin Bowling, the Porirua Pools, Paraparaumu beach and Southwards car museum. We stayed at Palm Grove in Paraparaumu and we absolutely loved it. We did archery, rode the flying fox, trampolined played ball games in the Rec. room, went out at night after dinner swimming and bowling. We didn't want to come home. We had seven great parents with us and we all enjoyed ourselves. People in the public commented on how smart we looked and how well behaved we were. We are the best!!!

Costumes and Characters Day
Can you spot Captain Underpants?
What a lot of fun we came dressed as our favourite book characters. Book week is fun.
The Ukulele Festival !!!!!!!!
At the Ukulele Festival at the Pascal Street Stadium in Palmerston North we played and played, entered competitions, danced, shopped, danced, were entertained by other Ukulele orchestras, sang loudly and played some more. It was a fantastic day and thank you to the families who went to a lot of trouble to get us there.
