The Ben 10 show
It was a very, very boring trip to Wellington. We traveled in the family's car from Wanganui to Wellington on Saturday the second week of the holidays. Me, Mum, my little brother Ari and Dad, were going to a Ben Ten show. We must have been hunting for a hotel about half and hour. Finally Mum remembered that she and Dad had stayed in a hotel in Wellington. So we went there and got a room.
Then we went to Sub Way for lunch. Me and Ari and Dad got a foot long.
Then we drove to the Ben ten show. We parked our car. My body was filled with
excitement
. We walked inside the building. We saw a crowd of people as we walked inside. Some kids had little Ben ten fans and they spun a round and words showed up. We bought one. It cost twenty dollars!!!! Then we all walked into where the Ben show was. And then it happened. Mum only had three tickets and there were four of us. Mum searched through her bag for the forth ticket. I shivered. I could see Dad looked worried. Then she pulled the forth ticket out. That was lucky. Mum give the lady the tickets and the lady said to go down stairs because they had run out of seats at the top. So we went down stairs and gave the tickets to the lady down there.
As we entered we saw a huge screen and a big stage. The screen showed cartoon network. Soon it would change.………..soon every thing would change. We took our seats. 10 or 20 minutes later the show started. It started off with Ben running through the forest. There were awesome costumes. In the middle of the show the lights turned on. It was a little break. A little while later the show started again. I thought the show was awesome.
After the show we quickly left the building so we didn’t spend ages crowding to get out. It was great to see the sun light when we got out.
We walked back to our car talking about the Ben ten show. Mum and Dad were entertained for the first few minutes then were bored. But I liked it.
We then drove back to the hotel. Mum and Dad had a cup of tea. Then we have a swam in the pool. It was very warm. We played in the pool for about half and hour. It was cold when we got out. We half ran, half walked with our towels around ourselves.
The hotel had a restaurant. But it cost too much money so we went to a restaurant in Wellington. It was a nice little restaurant. Afterwards we drove back to the hotel. We had a little play then went to bed.
The next morning we quickly packed and went to a café, went to a friends house and set off back to Wanganui.
I thought it was a cool trip because it was fun and exciting.
