The first 3 weeks have gone very quickly and have been very busy! There's been the usual; reading writing and maths but on top of that we have had a' Big Day Out' to Green Pastures. We kayaked, built rafts, did the mud run and the water slide, and completed the team building activities. We finished our day with a Barbecue tea.
We spent another morning at the Wanganui Museum, looking at waka and the Maori migration. We had a session of drawing the skyline of Wanganui with the Art Gallery. A great time sitting on the Queen's Park steps, focusing on what we could see, that touched the sky.
We've had the community picnic and been down to the pool twice a week. Lucky for us Cecile from Swim safe came too one day and went over some swimming survival skills for us.
Its only the beginning of term but we're working hard!
